Ferry Flights Casa delivered. A Casa 212-400 ferried from North Carolina to Johannesburg: A Journey Across the Atlantic

We recently embarked on an exciting mission, ferrying a CASA 212-400 from North Carolina all the way to Johannesburg. This remarkable aircraft originally hails from Suriname and is headed for its new home with the Botswana Defence Force.

Once in Botswana, the CASA 212-400 will take on dual roles—serving as a vital cargo aircraft for relief and support missions, and as a training plane for skydiving. Before that, it will be repainted in the official Defence Force colors, ready for action.

To ensure a smooth and safe journey across the southern Atlantic, we outfitted the plane with ferry tanks, providing plenty of extra fuel to cover any unexpected detours or weather challenges along the way. Contact us today.
